"The Bristol Flyers basketball season hasn’t been bad so far, but it could be better. Right now we’re 7th in the BBL with a 5 win 5 loss record. This season we picked up some good wins against Plymouth Raiders, Leeds Force, Surrey Scorchers, Glasgow Rocks and Manchester Giants. We also let some games slip away, but I still feel like we’re one of the best teams in the league. Our goal is to finish in the top 4 this season and have a strong outing in the playoffs.

It feels good to be back in Bristol. I was excited to be coming back to the team with returning players Mike Vigor, Leslee Smith, Dan Edozie, Roy Owens, and Jordan Nicholls. Those guys were great teammates last season! I was also excited about our new incoming players Rohndell Goodwin, Adam Weary, Jordan Davis, Panos Mayindombe and Chris Taylor. Our team chemistry has been good on and off the court. It’s important that everyone gets along with each other because the season is really long and there will be a lot of ups and downs.

Life in Bristol has been great. I miss the weather in South Carolina, but Bristol is a great city. I’ve been to plenty of restaurants with my team mates since I’ve been back. The city centre is great and we also made it to a Bristol City football match. The team will also be attending the Bristol City vs. Man U match in a couple weeks which we’re all really excited for!

We’re about a third of the way through a long season, where it’s not unusual to have a home game on a Saturday and an away game anywhere in the UK on a Sunday. When you start to throw in all of our strength and team training, community coaching and commercial activity, it’s really important to stay energised and ready so that I’m able to give my best at every practice and game.
